  Should Hand Held Cellphones Be Banned While Driving?

  many states do not even allow you to hold your phone if you are driving.

  do you think you should be fined hundreds of dollars for touching your phone while driving?

  Our car is tied in with my wife phone. If someone calls it goes right through the radio. No need to touch the phone. My feeling on texting is don't do it while driving or as far as I am concerned not at all. Life is to short to have your face glued to a hand held device. Lol. Also driving is a privelege not a right here in the U.S. So obey the laws given it may save your life as well as others. Still Totally ADD

  or did you just accept the synopsis given by the secretary or whoever opens the mail?

  Never saw a DA letter but did have one ask to meet with a couple of elders and I was one of them. It was a short meeting where he told us he no longer wanted to be a JW because he had some things he needed to do that was not christian. Never knew what that was all about. All we did was let the body of elders know about it. Never saw him a again. Still Totally ADD

  R.I.P. Doris Day

  today 14/05/2019 i hear that doris day has passed away.. at 97 years old ?

  what memories i have of her and her movies ,she was quite versatile in whatever role she took .. comedy , musical ,drama ,over decades ,and by all apparent reviews she was a lady with a lovely personality .. che sera ,sera .. smiddy3.

  Yesterday at work I told a co-worker that Doris Day died. Being only 30 years old he never heard of her. I. was taken back a little that he never heard of her. So I sarted to sing her Que sera, sera what ever will be will be. Still he did not know her and all I could say was "boy am I getting old" lol. Her movies and singing was always a joy to watch and listen to. RIP Doris and thank you for such good memories. Still Totally ADD

  Will Lawyers Eventually Usurp Absolute Control Over The JW Religion ?

  i have no trouble thinking this is a distinct possibility happening at some future date .more and more the g.b.members are relying on lawyers to get them out of tight spots that the g.b.

  and the fact that they need lawyers to get them out of.. gradually and by stealth with making little in-roads here and there in gaining some measure of control in modifying doctrines to keep the religion one step ahead of the law ,they eventually manipulate events whereby they can take full control over the religion and oust the remaining g.b.members as apostates or whatever and take full control over the jehovah`s witness empire for themselves .. what do you think ?.

  When I was at my last week long elder school at the Patterson complex in 2009 it was the people from the writing/teaching department doing all the teaching that week. I say this because I had the feeling they were running the wt. by the way the gb was never mentioned during the week. It was like it was by their authority not the gb in what we believe and how we handle the congregation. It's my thinking it could be a little of both the writing/teaching department and the lawyers that run the place. Just a thought. Still Totally ADD

  The Memorial was Useless

  so i just went to the kh here in romania yesterday, with my parents.

  haven't been since the memorial.

  during the weeks preceding the memorial, they went crazy with the invitations and 'preaching' work, to the point that they'd invite anyone and their grandmother.

  The one thing I remember about the memorial was as soon as the amen was said the hall empty to just a handful within minutes. I always found that quite odd. It was like thats all the audience could stomach and they had to get out of there before they through-up. Thats the biggest thing I remember. Still Totally ADD

  I was 19 and my wife to be was 21. It has been 45 years married to each other enjoying life more now that we have been out or the cult for over 8 years. Never thought of being with anyone else. Just lucky I guess. Still Totally ADD
